So, I know this is going to be shocking to some and old news to others, but I kinda need to get this out of the way before I can go on to what I really want to blog about. So, Nezar and I are divorced. I know this may come as a surprise to some, but LONG story short-ish.....we have been having problems for years. We had enough. We went to counseling. We tried and tried. We are divorced. So, that's life in a nut shell for the last 5 months.
Life now consists of me and Beth Ann living in a little apartment in an OLD building in downtown Caldwell. It's got sweet 70's orange patterned carpet, wood paneling on the wall, and mustard yellow countertops.....it's AWESOME! But it's only $275/month, so I can deal with a little 70's orange, green and yellow. But it's so cute, with my new pink beach cruiser leaning against the wall by my white computer desk with pink decor, and my striped pink chair. I can hop on "roxie" (that's my beach cruiser), and cruise on down to the market and pick up my groceries, walk a few blocks to the park with Beth Ann, and be in the middle of it all (well, as much goes on downtown Caldwell).
But, to the real question......this is all Jessica Woods' idea, i'm sure you're all shocked by that. But, she seems to think that I should, instead of changing back to my maiden name, pick a new last name. I'm still not sure about the whole thing, but I figured I mine as well get a little more input. So, Arwen has suggested "Pessica".....you know, Jessica Pessica. I think it's genious, but before I settle I thought I might get a little more suggestions. So, what do you think? Shall it be Jessica Foster again, Jessica Pessica, or your idea? Give me ideas people!

or maybe you could do some sort of prince or Madonna type thing where you'd just go by one name or letter. In that case, maybe you could go by "Maxie" or "frank" or "Jizz"
`I think you should find some kind of word, meaning or phrase that means a lot to you or to this time period and draw something out of that. I am not sure what yet, but I will think about it. Give me somethings to go one. What means stuff to you??

I think you should go with Rabbit. Jessica Rabbit. (I hope you're old enough to have seen Who Framed Roger Rabbit, otherwise I'll just sound like a crazy old lady.

That is a big update. When I went through this, I sent out a postcard. I think the blog version is equally cool. As for the name cange, you could pull a Phoebe Buffay and change your name to Princess Consuela Bananahammock. I mean who doesn't like a bananahammock! SICK!
One of my favorite last names is Lovejoy. That kind of says it all. Oh, and I like Pongo.
Ohh, Lovejoy. I like that. For reals. Think about it Jess. Jessica Lovejoy. I like that sound of that.
Hmmm....interesting. I kinda like that, it comes in as a close second to Princess Consuela Bannanahammock! Actually, I kinda like Lovejoy. And yes Gina, in fact, my dad used to tell me that Jessica Rabbit was my namesake. Sad.
after seeing it here, I am starting to think differently about the whole "Pessica" idea. The 'P' is a little harsh combined with the "ess".... Wessica. Yes. that is it.
If I were going to change my last name, I'd change it to Monaghan. And I'd be married to the Dominic that is attached to it.
