Snow and stuff

So, we decided this year to go the mountains to pick out our Christmas tree....sounds fun right?! Well, little did I know that you can't just go up to the mountain to get a tree, you have to drive up as high as you can get then hike in to find something other than a pine tree. Who wants a pine tree as a Christmas tree!? Definetly not me. Anyway, we did not go up for enough, nor did we hike high enough, but we sure as heck got a Christmas tree. We found the only fir tree that was under 20 feet, cut it down about 5 feet off of the ground and took home the top. It was the ugliest, most scrawny, shapless tree I've ever seen.....but you better believe it's the most cherished tree this season! Even though it is not the beautifully manicured, full bodied, plump little tree I usually decide on, I FOUND it myself. It's the best tree ever and we had a blast finding it. Here are few pics. of the "kids" playing in the snow. I'm pretty sure it was the first time for Janst. He loved running as fast as he could then shoving his whole face down in and taking a big bite! (We need children!)
